Congratulations on your engagement. Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and I wanted to give you some tips on how to navigate your wedding makeup. This is basically a check-list, a time-line, and also some tips and tricks.

Hiring Your Makeup Artist

After initial contact, you have received a contract and will need to send that along with your non-refundable deposit. Your wedding day is not reserved until this is received. I will contact you as soon as I receive your deposit to let you know that your day has been reserved. You will then need to book a reservation for your Bridal Trial which will be at my salon.

Please go to BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT to book your trial. If you require me traveling to you, I will be charging mileage as well as double the rate of my salon pricing.

I would recommend scheduling your trial on a day where you’ll be out and about, best if done on the same day as your hair trial or while you’re doing your last dress fitting. Friends and family can deter brides from going in their desired direction so I would come alone or have them wait in the waiting area while you are being serviced.

During Your Trial

DO bring photos of makeup looks you love.
DO wear a white blouse/shirt close to your dress shade.
DO come with your everyday makeup look.
DO ask any and all questions and mention any allergies before your trial.
DON’T be afraid to speak up if you don’t like something.
DON’T forget that this is a trial and experimenting is ok.
DON’T let others push you away from what you feel best in.
DON’T hesitate to send feedback after your trial if there is anything you want changed.

Payment

You have already made your $100 deposit so on the day of your trial, you will pay the rest of your balance and not have to worry about payment on the day of.

Before Your Wedding Day

I would highly suggest you start caring for your skin with a regimen that best fits your skin needs. Remember that WATER is your skin’s best friend. Also, whether you are dry, combination, or oily, your skin still needs hydration.
Do not be afraid of hydration. (Serums and moisturizers)
Exfoliation is so important in sloughing dead skin off!
Facials are always a plus and recommended at least a month before.
If you’re sensitive to new skincare, test this out more than a month out before your wedding day.

FAQS

Why airbrush foundation?
Airbrush services are used to provide the most skin-like complexion with minimal product. It has the ability to blur fine lines, texture, and blemishes. It is also meant to last all day and be water-resistant. I also use airbrush bronzer, highlight, and blush.

What if I want another trial?
If you decide on another direction than what you initially wanted and want to book another trial, this will be considered another service so the same amount will be charged.

What brands do you keep in your kit?
I choose only the best of the best in professional makeup. I carry Temptu Airbrush foundation, bronzer, and blushes.
My eyeshadows include brands like Viseart, Makeup Forever, Anastasia Beverly Hills, MAC, and a variety of others.
Eyeliners can range from cream, liquid, or pencil and brands include Sephora, Makeup Forever, Bobbi Brown, etc.
Lips: NYX, Sephora Pro, Viseart, BUT I highly recommend finding your favorite lip color and bringing this with you to the trial and wedding day for touch-ups.
